Johnny was a boxer with Jimmy (his brother) and I, Charles Causey, Billy Mc Swain, Bobby and Wade Edwards, Talmage Horn and I am sure others that I can't remember.  That was the first money that I earned.  They gave us $2.00 if we won and $1.00 if we lost. Johnny was one of the better boxers and went on to the Golden Gloves.  He went into the lawn maintenance business in Miami and became a millionaire according to Jim.  He died 15 years ago of a lung disease caused from spraying lawns and fruit trees.
